people running forthe board

well did everyone see the listing by the elevators of all the candidates. We have the usual ACC candidates any 2 new people running from that bunch. Jack Raskin stepping down due to ill health. 2 ACC replacements running seem highly qualified. Now we have the usual non ACC running against them. Gena Feist, former board member who people are telling us does not want to keep Penn South affordable which she denies- go figure-, and Phinias Antropolsky- a guy who changed his name and has run numerous times and has lost all of those times. With so many cooperators in penn south most people will not consider running for the board. It is too bad that onlt 2 new people have forward andthey r both ACC endorsed while the other people running are not new faces. I certainly dissapointed with the choices out there and it is a no brainer for me to go with ACC slate at least the 2 people who are newly running are very qualified but am also disapointed that they are both not comming out of our corporate council and worked their ways up.

The coop council is weird & useless. I don't think that many of that bunch would qualify for the board.

Most of the candidates are qualified, esp. the new ones.

been there done that many moons ago and I for one wouldnt consider it as I dont have as much background as some do. Yes the 2 ACC seemed very qualified but just to make it fair we need more new blood from the other side. Just because u r independent doesnt mean you arent for limited income. Its just good if you come from something else in theco=op rather then a complete outsider. well not quite since one guy grew up in the co-op and one is on the exercise room committee
