Does anyone have experience with this? Just a ballpark figure??
The wall is approximately 15 ft wide.
I was told that this is something people do in Penn South to address noise issues... any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The french bakery is finally closed- Des Sirs on 9th Avenue. Hong Kong which I reported had a health code violation vriefly opened and now its out of business with asign for rent. Wonder what will open. We are lacking good old fashioned chinese- cantonese style restaurants in chelsea. I cut this out of a newspaper about a year ago, it says 445 7th Ave., between 15 and 16 streets. Maybe was a temporary thing? It says "7th Avenue pet"

I have complained many times to my upstairs neighbor about her loud television which I hear in my apt. She admits that she is hard of hearing and in the past would lower it after every complaint. My wife and I are currently #90 on the 3 bedroom external waiting list.
For personal reasons we need an apartment ASAP.
We were told to get on the 1 bedroom list, but getting on a new list puts you at the very bottom of that new ( 1 bedroom ) list.
They say the 3 bedroom list is the slowest - how can I be sure the bottom of the 1 bedroom list won't take even... [Read More]

The independent jeweler I used to go to went out to business- flanzer on 8th Avenue a few years ago and I need a good independent that can size some rings I inherited. One needs to be enlarged and the other sized down slightly. Went into zales and they dont want to mess with one of them. Anyone use DVVS? Can be out of chelsea.
