  • Murder @ 235 W22nd

Just saw on channel 5, Fox news that a girl was found with her throat slashed at 235 W22nd.

    Re: Murder @ 235 W22nd

I was asking a photographer outside the building what happened and all he said was someone was killed. I later found this article on the NYPost site that says a woman was found in her bathtub. Fox5 website mentions she was found in the elevator but there's no details so I think they got it wrong. Scary when this stuff happens right across the street. Walking down our closed off street, I was relieved to see the incident wasn't at our building.

      Thanks for the article Mike!
So, the killer is still out there?

The killer was her boyfriend and apparently killed himself downtown by jumping off a building on Exchange Place.

Wow, thanks W16th, now we can all walk around here in less fear.
What a truly unfortunate, sad story.

                Just awful.

I saw the cops blocking the street afterward. An old lady came up to one of them and asked if everything was all right. One of the cops said, "You'll see" and sniggered to his buddy. Now that I know what what really happening, that exchange really ticks me off.
