There's a locally-filmed independent movie playing on Time Warner pay-per-view (channel 1000) and I'm happy to report it's a good one. "THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY" is about the agonies of surviving as an actor in New York and was made by Robert Margolis, my neighbor on W. 14th St., and Frank Matter. Much of it was filmed in the neighborhood. Look it up on for more information and comments from viewers. Among the excellent players is Kelli Barnett who can be seen some nights tending bar and lending glamour to Le Singe Vert on 7th Ave. near 20th.

Pardon me for doing a bit of shilling here, but I really feel this film is worth recommending.
